Aluminum foil

Because of its excellent characteristics, aluminum foil is widely used in food, beverages, cigarettes, medicines, photographic plates, household necessities, etc., usually used as its packaging materials; Electrolytic capacitor material; Insulation materials for buildings, vehicles, ships, houses, etc. Aluminum foil is a soft metal film, which not only has the advantages of moisture-proof, airtight, shading, abrasion resistance, fragrance protection, non-toxic and tasteless, but also because of its elegant silver luster.

Aluminum foil can be divided into thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil according to thickness difference.

① heavy gaugefoil (" heavy gaugefoil") : foil with a thickness of 0.1 ~ 0.2mm.

(2) "medium gauge foil" : the thickness of 0.01mm and less than 0.1mm/ foil.

(3) Double zero foil (" light gauge foil ") : The so-called double zero foil is the foil with two zeros after the decimal point when its thickness is mm as the unit of measurement, usually the aluminum foil with a thickness of less than 0.01, that is, 0.005~0.009mm aluminum foil. Sometimes the thickness of ≤40ltm aluminum foil is called "light gauge foil", and the thickness of >40btm aluminum foil is collectively referred to as "heavy gauge foil".

① Hard foil: aluminum foil without softening treatment (annealing) after rolling, without degreasing treatment, the surface of the residue. Therefore, the hard foil must be degreased before printing, laminating and coating, and can be used directly if used for forming processing.

(2) semi-hard foil: Aluminum foil hardness (or strength) between hard foil and soft foil, usually used for forming processing.

③ Soft foil: aluminum foil softened after full annealing after rolling, soft material, no residual oil on the surface. Most applications, such as packaging, composite, electrical materials, etc., use soft foils.

Advantages of coated carbon aluminum foil in lithium battery applications

1. Inhibit battery polarization, reduce thermal effect, and improve magnification performance;

2. Reduce the internal resistance of the battery, and significantly reduce the dynamic internal resistance increase in the cycle process;

3. Improve consistency and increase battery cycle life;

4. Improve the adhesion between the active substance and the collector, and reduce the manufacturing cost of the pole sheet;

5. Protect the collector fluid from corrosion by electrolyte;

6. Improve the processing properties of lithium iron phosphate and lithium titanate materials.

Thickness of both sides of the coating: 4 ~ 6μm for A type, 2 ~ 3μm for B type.

Conductive coating

The surface treatment of battery conductive substrate with functional coating is a breakthrough technological innovation. The carbon-coated aluminum foil/copper foil is to evenly and delicately coat the aluminum foil/copper foil with dispersed nano conductive graphite and carbon coated particles. It can provide excellent static conductivity, collect the micro current of the active substance, which can greatly reduce the contact resistance between the positive/negative electrode material and the collector, and improve the adhesion ability between the two, which can reduce the amount of binder used, and thus significantly improve the overall performance of the battery. · Improve the adhesion of lithium titanate or other high-capacity negative electrode materials and collectors;

· Improve the qualified rate of electrode sheet and reduce the manufacturing cost of electrode sheet.

3. Reduce polarization, improve magnification and gram capacity, and improve battery performance.

· If the proportion of adhesive in the active material is partially reduced, the gram capacity is increased;

· Improve the electrical contact between the active substance and the collector;

4. Protect the fluid collection and extend the battery life.

· Can replace higher-cost etched foil or replace standard foil with thinner foil
